Asheville Blessing Bag Assembly Night – Community Service & Winter Outreach
Blessing Bag Assembly Night – Community Giving in Asheville
Wednesday, December 10 • 5:45–8:45 PM
Join us for an evening centered on compassion, connection, and giving back. We’ll gather to assemble Blessing Bags for neighbors in need this winter—adult bags, child bags, and even pet bags for dogs and cats.
Your $20 contribution (paid at the event) covers supplies like warm socks, hygiene items, protein snacks, water, comfort items, and handwritten notes of care. Kid bags include small toys, and some bags may include fast-food meal cards depending on donations.
You’ll take a couple of completed bags with you to keep in your car and give directly to someone who could use extra support this season. The rest will go out into the community.
We’ll be assembling bags in the spacious lobby of Marie’s building, with plenty of room for a larger group. If you'd like to contribute more than $20, please reach out to Marie.
Come be part of a night filled with purpose, community love, and winter kindness.

with Cheryl Albright, OTR/L, C-IAYT
Parenting a child with disabilities comes with unique challenges that can impact every part of family life. Coffee with a Therapist creates a relaxed, judgment-free space to connect with others who truly understand.
Join Cheryl Albright, occupational therapist and yoga therapist, for an easygoing conversation over coffee about what matters most to you—self-care, family balance, advocacy, overwhelm, stress management, and real-life strategies to support both you and your child.
This is not a clinical session. It’s a warm, welcoming community moment where you can breathe, chat, share experiences, and walk away with practical tools you can use right away.

Hallmark Christmas Movie and Cookie Exchange
Brooke is hosting a kid-free, cozy holiday gathering in her intimate living room — the perfect setting for a Hallmark movie night and festive cookie exchange. Guests are invited to bring at least two dozen cookies to enjoy and swap; store-bought, Pillsbury, or homemade are all welcome.
She’ll be serving cheese fondue with plenty of dippers, and guests are encouraged to bring an appetizer-style snack or festive board to share.
Brooke will also have a holiday cocktail, mocktail, wine, hot cocoa, hot tea, coffee, and water available. Guests are welcome to bring their favorite add-ins for their drinks.
Her home is small and intentionally cozy, so the gathering is limited to 6–8 guests for comfort. She’s located on the Edneyville side of Hendersonville, and the exact address will be provided once attendance is confirmed.
A sweet, simple night to unwind, laugh, and soak in the season.
