Hi, I'm Leslie Brooks — a trauma-informed somatic coach, Intermediate-level Somatic Experiencing® practitioner, and licensed massage therapist.
I work with women who've spent their whole lives being the stabilizer. The one everyone calls. The one who reads the room, smooths the mood, and holds it together — while quietly losing track of themselves in the process.
You've probably already done the therapy. You know your patterns. You can explain exactly why you people-please, why you freeze when it's time to speak up, why you apologize before anyone's even asked you to. And still — none of that knowing has changed what your body does in the actual moment.
That's the gap I work in. Not more insight. Not more explaining. The space between what you know and what you can actually feel and act on when it counts.
My work takes you from self-abandonment to a self you trust — a nervous system that finally feels safe, relationships you don't disappear inside of, and a version of you who doesn't have to perform, override, or force her way through the moments that used to take her out.
Not a new you. The one you buried a long time ago to keep everyone else comfortable.
1:1 Coaching with Leslie Brooks
I'm Leslie Brooks — Somatic and Trauma Coach, Certified Community Trauma Support Specialist (Trauma Institute International), Licensed Massage Therapist, and a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner-in-Training.
I work with women who are the ones everyone calls. The stabilizer. The one who reads the room, smooths the mood, and holds it together for everyone — while quietly losing track of herself in the process.
You say yes when your whole body is screaming no. You hustle for worth you should've never had to earn. You've done the work, you know your patterns, and you're still asking: will I ever actually feel like enough?
If that's you — you're in the right place.
With over 25 years combining trauma coaching, somatic experiencing, and body-based practices, I help women stop living in survival mode and start building a life their body can finally say a full-body yes to.
What We Focus On
🔥 Define Her: Boundaries as the Full-Body Fuck No
Learn to set limits without the apology tour or the collapse afterward. A boundary isn't guilt. It's self-respect, said out loud.
🌿 Be Her: Joy and Calm as the Full-Body Fuck Yes
Reclaim joy and safety as your baseline — not something you have to earn first.
💛 Protect Her: Healing Relationship Anxiety
Understand how insecurity actually lives in your nervous system, so you can build connections that don't cost you yourself to keep.
✨ The Unfuckwithable Self
Stop waiting for someone else to decide your worth. Live from your own truth — steady, direct, and whole.
How I Can Support You
Regulating anxiety and trauma symptoms in your actual body, not just your head
Building confidence that doesn't depend on anyone's approval
Dropping the perfectionism and self-judgment you've been carrying as armor
Creating real safety — in your body, and in your relationships
Reclaiming joy, calm, and presence as things you're allowed to have
My Why
I know what it's like to lose yourself inside dysfunction. I lived it — narcissistic parenting, abusive relationships, family trauma, years of people-pleasing so good I forgot I was doing it. I used to believe I was broken.
Here's what I know now: you're not broken. You just learned to survive in a way that's outlived its usefulness. And you need a way back to yourself — not a new one.
That's what this work is. Not fixing you. Guiding you back to the woman who's been in there the whole time, waiting to be defined, lived from, and protected.
👉 Ready to step into your next chapter? I'm ready to walk it with you.
Rooting for you always,
Leslie Brooks, CLC, LMBT, CTSS
